2007 as CFO at Groupe Laperrière & Verreault inc.
(GL&V). He joined GL&V in 2000 as VP Treasury and
in 2006 he became Assistant VP Financial Operations. Prior
to GL&V, he was with the accounting firm Raymond Chabot
Grant Thornton.

Jean-Pierre L. Bouchard, born in Baie-Saint-Paul, Charlevoix,
studied medicine at Laval University in Quebec city and graduated
as a specialist in neurology from the University of Toronto.
In 1974, he identified for the first time the Ataxia of Charlevoix-Saguenay
and other types of ataxia in Quebec. Dr. Bouchard is a professor
at the medical faculty (neurology) at Laval University, director
of the Cliniques des maladies neuromusculaires et de la sclérose
en plaques ( Québec and Charlevoix) and vice-président
of the Canadian Neurological Society Foundation. Recently,
he has accepted the position of president of the Comité
scientifique de l’inscription des médicaments
(CSI) au Conseil du Médicament du Québec.

Carl Deslongchamps, KPMG
Carl
Deslongchamps, D.E.S.S. Fisc., is a Partner with the R&D
and Strategic Relocation and Expansion Services (SRES) Groups
in KPMG's Montreal office. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree,
with a Finance option, and a Diploma in Taxation. Before joining
KPMG's team in September 2000, he held the position of Assistant
Director, Tax Incentives Section in the Montreal Tax Services
Office of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

since 1999. Prior to joining Power Corporation, he was director
at ARC. He is a member of several organisations such as TEI,

Métropolitain. Furthermore, he is on the Board of the
APFF, the Fondation Gratien Gélinas, and on the Finances
Committee of the Chambre de commerce Montréal Métropolitain.

Dr.
Martin Godbout holds a B.Sc. in biochemistry and a Ph.D. in
physiology and molecular endocrinology from Laval University.
From 1985 to 1990, he received a postdoctoral fellowship from
the Medical Research Council (MRC) of Canada and was trained
in Neuromolecular Biology at the Scripps Research Institute
in California. Since April 1, 2000, Dr. Godbout has been the
President and CEO of Genome Canada, a private, not-for-profit
corporation, dedicated to investing and implementing a national
strategy in genomics and proteomics research in Canada.

Jean Groleau is a fiscal lawyer and partner at Fraser Milner
Casgrain law firm. He is the co-founder and president of the
Ataxia of Charlevoix-Saguenay Foundation. He is on the Board
of Directors of the Sainte-Justine Hospital Foundation and
president of the Donations Committee of Sainte-Justine Hospital.
He is also president and member of the Association de Planification
Fiscale et Financière (APFF).
Dr. Thomas J. Hudson, Ontario

A
native of the Saguenay region, Dr. Hudson is one of Canada's
top scientists. He studied medicine at the Université
de Montréal and completed his post-doctorate studies
at Boston's MIT and Whitehead Institute. Dr. Hudson lead Canada
into a new era of genomics research while at Génome
Québec. In July 2006, he was named President of the
Ontario Institute for Cancer Research.

Dr. Guy A. Rouleau, Centre

Born
in Ottawa, Dr. Guy Rouleau graduated from the University of
Ottawa with a medical degree in 1980 and spent the next five
years pursuing training as a clinical specialist in neurology
at McGill University in Montréal. Currently an Associate
Professor at McGill University, he also directs the Molecular
Neurogenetics Laboratory at the McGill University Centre for
Research in Neurosciences. He is also research director at
the CHU Ste Justine Research Centre.
