Ataxia of Charlevoix-Saguenay Foundation

The Foundation of Ataxia Charlevoix-Saguenay has just completed its third year of existence. In its 3rd year, the Foundation has raised $661,665 including a grant of $108,000 from the Healh Research Institutes of Canada. Many thanks to all volunteers, organisers, sponsors, donors and many participants who contributed to this success.
I would also like to thank the research team members for their ongoing dedication to the cause of Ataxia Charlevoix-Saguenay. The year 2010 will be a very important year for the research. Indeed, Dr. Brais and his team of researchers hope to begin testing potential therapeutic molecules on cellular models. These models have been developped by our research team in 2007 and 2008.
From my part, I am committed to share any development and progress of the research as the results become available via the site of the Foundation.
Finally, the Foundation needs you in order to continue the research project in Montreal. Thank you in advance for your support and your generosity.
